Alliance Française de Manille (AFM) was founded in 1920 and is one of the most prominent foreign cultural institutions in the country today. Marina Cruz's works look like portraits of children, models of true simplicity and sincerity.  Her work dwells on memory while Rodel Tapaya explores the mystery of rural landscapes.  His works depict scenes that are both common and complex; straightforward and mysterious.  It is simply about people and places.
